I think it does let us trust the resident a little bit more. [..] With Nobi, there's safety in the room, which gives the team a little bit more calm.
Ann PattersonVP of Health Services, Broadmead
One day we measured somebody went in the bathroom 41 times. We were able to have them have some testing done to see was something medical going on. And Nobi did that for us.

It helps me instead of running around every two seconds to check on everybody. The phone will let you know.

It looks like a regular light bulb. It's a part of our operations. It's a part of the community. It's not like a security camera in a corner.

You can't always be perfect and check a room right when a person falls. [..] The faster you can get to a situation that happens, the better.
Connor NolanCaregiver, Cedar Village by Cogir
I probably had six incident reports a day in memory care [..] So now I have one to zero a day.

From my perspective as a family member, it gave me really good peace of mind that if something happened to my mom in the middle of the night, [..] the staff would get notified and be up to help her immediately.

Dudbrook House.
St Michaels Homes and Essex County Council put Nobi in all 150 rooms to bring down A&E admissions. The director was sceptical. Then a paramedic watched the fall replay, and a resident could stay in the home instead of spending the night in A&E.

I never worry about mum now, you know, with Nobi. I know that she's safe. [..] It reassures me a lot that she's got that in her room.

I feel happy that the staff aren't having to spend so much time making sure my mum's safe. It gives us time.

They can then immediately speak directly to that room through the handset and through the Nobi light. They can immediately reassure that resident that we know that they need some help and that we are on the way to them.

Seven care homes · NHS evaluation · Suffolk and North East Essex, UK
Seven Care Homes, One NHS Evaluation.
The Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board evaluated Nobi across seven care homes: fewer fall-related hospital visits, admissions and ambulance call-outs, shorter stays when someone was admitted, and more confidence on night shifts.
The Nobi light gives me peace of mind because mum does fall a lot. I felt guilty about her going into a home, but now I know staff are alerted instantly and can be there straight away.
