Made for senior living, by senior living

Built With Care, by People Who Know Care.

Roeland Pelgrims

Co-founder and Global CEO

Roeland has spent his career bringing together technology, hospitality and care. From smart homes to senior living, his work has always been guided by a simple belief: people should feel safe, comfortable and at home in the places where they live. As a former board member of Armonea, one of Belgium’s largest residential care providers, he saw firsthand the challenges facing older adults and the people caring for them. That experience helped inspire Nobi. Today, as co-founder and Global CEO, Roeland is focused on making thoughtful technology a natural part of care, supporting independence without compromising the feeling of home.

Bert De Haes

Co-founder and VP Product Supply

Bert has spent more than two decades exploring how technology can make care better. In 2002, he founded Bloom, bringing smart home technology and nurse call systems together to support residents and caregivers. After Bloom became part of Niko Group, he went on to lead its product and marketing teams. His experience inspired a different approach to care technology: one that could provide intelligent support without making a room feel clinical. That idea became the Nobi Light. As co-founder and VP Product Supply, Bert continues to help turn that vision into products that belong naturally in people’s homes and care environments.

Stijn Verrept

Co-founder and CTO

Stijn has spent more than 25 years developing technology for care. As co-founder and CTO of Care Solutions, he helped build one of Belgium’s leading electronic health record platforms for elderly care. That experience gave him a clear understanding of how technology can support caregivers when it is designed around their everyday needs. He went on to co-found Nobi, bringing that same philosophy to a new generation of care technology. Today, Stijn leads Nobi’s technology and product direction, from the intelligence inside its lights to the software used by care teams, making complex technology feel simple, reliable and naturally part of care.

Shelley Esden

CEO, Nobi US

Shelley brings more than 25 years of experience in senior living, working closely with the people and communities at the heart of care. She understands the responsibility of keeping residents safe while protecting their independence, and the daily challenges faced by caregivers who cannot be everywhere at once. That understanding drew her to Nobi and its belief that technology should support, not complicate, the human side of care. As CEO of Nobi US, Shelley helps bring that vision to senior living communities, with a focus on giving residents greater security, families reassurance and care teams the confidence to do what they do best.

Natalie Heaven

Implementation and Field Service Manager, Nobi UK

Natalie has dedicated her working life to care, starting at just 17 and spending more than seven years as a Registered Care Home Manager. She knows what it means to be responsible for residents’ wellbeing and to support the teams caring for them. When she joined Nobi, she saw an opportunity to make a difference beyond the walls of a single care home. Today, she works alongside care providers to bring Nobi into their communities, ensuring the technology fits naturally into everyday care. For Natalie, it is a continuation of what she has always loved doing: helping people feel safe, supported and cared for.

An Van Wesenbeeck

Product team

An has spent her entire career caring for older adults and supporting the people around them. She began as a nurse, went on to lead care teams and manage a residential care home, and spent seven years training professionals in fall and fracture prevention across Flanders. Her experience gives her a deep understanding of what care teams need, especially when time is limited and every moment counts. After initially leading Customer Support at Nobi, An now brings that practical knowledge into the product team, helping shape technology that feels intuitive, supports caregivers and respects the everyday lives of residents.

Andrew Gall

Customer Success, Nobi US

Andrew brings more than 15 years of experience in senior living, from leading individual communities to overseeing regional operations. Having worked closely with residents and care teams, he understands the realities of daily care and the difference that the right support can make. After moving into care technology, he helped senior living operators translate innovation into meaningful improvements. Today, he leads Customer Success at Nobi US, making sure our technology works for the people who use it every day. For Andrew, success means giving care teams more confidence and time for what matters most: caring for people.

Kristian Wright

Director of Sales, Nobi UK

Kristian has spent the past five years working with health and care organisations, helping them find solutions to the challenges they face every day. His connection to care is also personal, shaped by seeing loved ones supported in residential care. Those experiences taught him that good technology should never get in the way of human connection, but instead create more room for it. As Director of Sales at Nobi UK, Kristian builds partnerships with care providers who share that belief, helping them discover how thoughtful technology can support safer, more independent living while making everyday care a little easier.
